My Approach
I approach my consulting practice from a client-centered perspective. My subject matter expertise is broad and includes: homelessness and domestic/sexual violence programming, systems-level change management & planning, large meeting and group facilitation, writing community/strategic plans, project management and organizational development. For the past 25 years I have worked in the field of social justice, particularly in the areas of anti-violence (violence against women and children) and homelessness. I have extensive experience with domestic violence and sexual assault programming, including participation in national demonstration sites and as the Executive Director of a non-profit organization. For the past 12 years I have worked in homelessness, both at a local and national level. In my current practice, I have been providing consultation to multiple city/county governments and communities across the country to plan, assess and develop systems to end homelessness (particular expertise in youth and family homelessness). I have worked with many organizations to manage complex projects and develop compelling community plans.
